Not to be denied by the pandemic, the Australian Lacrosse Network -- the #1 online destination showcasing Australian lacrosse videos -- partnered with Lacrosse Western Australia to host, a unique and ambitious event: a Virtual Awards Night presented on Zoom.
In a first for the ALN, all of the Western Australian Fairest & Best winners (Senior & Junior) and Senior All-stars teams were announced on the ALN Facebook page in a livestream which was hosted by Tim Kennedy in East Fremantle Lacrosse Club's Long Room and included live crosses to all of the Western Australian clubs. As it was live on Facebook, players, coaches, families and fans were able join in and provide real time feedback.
It was certainly an award show like no other as they celebrated the best of Western Australian lacrosse for 2020. Congratulations from American Pride!!
